Good Time Club

  • In the bad old days of Columbia, the Good Time Club was the secret base operated by Jeremiah Fink, Rapture’s main industrialist. Despite the fact that Finkton was a part of Columbia, it was hated, not just because Fink was a rival to the Prophet, but frankly because Fink, being a Jew, represented all the influence in the town not “white” or “Christian”. All the same, Fink did truly deplorable things, such as turning slaves into cyborgs, literally making them part of a machine that was worked 24/7. There was no low too low, no measure too brutal, and indeed Fink was every bit the madman Comstock was.
  • His base of operation was the Good Time Club, which was patterned after the Parisian cabarets of Montmarte, such as the Moulin Rogue. Part Bordello, part Theatre, part Cabaret, it was where the elite would enjoy pleasures that rest of Columbia would not allow. However, in addition to being a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah, it also hid Fink’s base. Every little seat could be a deathtrap, where one would get Shanghaied into tunnels or destroyed by the Horrid Steampunk Robots that were stacked backstage. As far as backstage, well, Hades calls it “hell” for a reason, because if it suited fink, this is where people could end up interrogated, imprisoned, vivisected, and if they were lucky, executed. Now that Hades has control of the place, we will see if he makes it better or worse, probably worse.
